Bus to the NYC Pier

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am looking for bus schedule/rate information for the local area to the NCL Pier in New York City. I think I read somewhere that NCL had buses that picked up passengers in several "nearby" cities.

A bus may save me lots by my not having to drive all the way in to NYC, staying at a hotel the night before, and paying port parking - which I think is up to ~$22/day!

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

I'm not sure where you are in NY state. I'd call NCL and inquire if they have buses. I know that RCL does which we took for free from Boston to NY. If they don't you might want to look up Greyhound which isn't very expensive.

Where do you live? The Port Authority Bus Terminal is close to the pier. You can take a Greyhound bus into there and cab it over the ten blocks. Or, Amtrack into Grand Central. Station. Go on the East Coast board, there are several posts on this subject there.
