Fireworks in Boston

We will be in Boston next July 3-5 and have a reservation at the Hyatt Harborside. Will we be able to see fireworks from there or is there a better hotel for viewing? Thanks:)

Congratulations - you're coming at one of the best times of the year! My wife and I have made an annual tradition of seeing the Boston Pops and then the fireworks on the 4th.

 

The fireworks, however, are not at the harbor. (For fireworks at the harbor you would have to come in for New Years Eve,) The fireworks on the 4th of July are on the Charles River - about 2 miles from your hotel.

 

That may sound like a long way, but Boston is a great walking city and if the day is pleasant there's a lot to do along the way.

Having been there for this last one, our hotel said the best is Hyatt Cambridge river room for the best view but to book early.

Thanks!!!! We used to live in NYS, so we're quite familiar with Ma, and our daughter went to college in Beverly. We try to trek up every year!!!!:)
