Amenities of Enchantment of the seas

Recommended Posts

Hello, I recently booked the 5 day Feb 9, 2007 sailing on Enchantment. While this is not my first cruise it is my first RCCL cruise. A few questions:

At the Captains party, are free drinks available?

Are Playing cards available?

Postcards of the ship?

How much are pictures?

Is there an art auction?

Do they serve free alcohol?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Hi and welcome to RCI! I love cruisin with them! Yes there are some free drinks- at the captains' meeting etc....yes there is an art auction and you can get a free print just for showing up and they have drawings for gifts. I think I have seen playing cards in the game rooms and library on RCI ships. I am going on Enchantment in Oct for the first time but I have loved the other ships. Yes you can get post cards usually free if you buy the photos. Prices vary from I thing 9.95 -19.95 and you can buy packet as well and I have never had any problems making copies anywhere. After your first cruise join Crown and Anchor for more free stuff and benefits. I am enjoying them. Hope you have a blast.

I don't know if they do a Captains reception on a 5 day--they do on 7 day! If there is one, drinks are on the house.

That, and the C&A party are the only place for "free" drinks (unless you are in a suite and have use of the concierge lounge!)

Yes, there is an art auction.

I'm sure cards are available somewhere, but how hard is it to pack a deck, if you want to play?

Figure about $10.00 per 8x10 picture (Or somewhere in that pricerange)

There is a Captain's Party on the night of the formal and it is for all passengers. You can meet the Captain, have a free champagne or rum punch and toast the cruise. It is held in the Spotlight lounge.

You can get cards at guest services or in the library, I believe.

Losts of postcards in the logo shop.

Pictures ranged form the $10-20 range.

There were several art auctions.

The only free alcohol I recall is the Captain's reception.

There was no sushi station.

You HAVE to try the bungi trampolines at the front fo the ship. Very fun.

All of our Enchantment pics are in my signature. In a separate folder there, you will see all the cruise compasses, so you can see the types of activities offered.

One thing I learned from the cruise boards......at the Captains Party or other receptions you can request the drink of your choice & they will bring it....you don't "have" to take the champange or punch. I'm sure there are some exceptions but I have always requested a different drink & have never been turned down...
