Tours In Rome

My wife and I will be spending three nights in Rome prior to our cruise. Would appreciate advice on either a private tour/driver or a group tour to see the key sites in Rome.

 

Does anyone have recommendations for either a private driver or a group tour along with contact information?

We used Max Leotta and his driver Rinaldo, not only for Rome but for sites around Rome like Tivoli, Hadrian's Villa, and Ostia. His email address is maxleotta@tiscali.it A lot of people use driverinrome and I have heard good things about them also. Finally, I have heard really wonderful things about the Scala Reale walking tours.

We used Claudio Caponera of limoinrome.com in Rome after our July cruise and he was wonderful! I had emailed several drivers before we went and his rates were more reasonable than most of the others. He was prompt, a perfect gentlemen, very knowledgeable, and drives a nice airconditioned van. I recommend him very much.
