lunch recommendations

We'll be in Istanbul and Ismir in a week's time. Any suggestions as to places for lunch in either of those places? Thanks,

In Istanbul, our guide took us to the Pudding Shop near the metro tracks Underground Cistern and Hagia Sophia. You pick out what you want at the counter. We walked upstairs and sat near the window for a view of the street action below.

 

Good food for a reasonable price.
