tobes Posted September 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2007 Planning my summer trip in GB and would love a web site that told me driving distances. is there such a web site? For example, to start , how far is Stansted airport to Salisbury/Bath area and how far from there to Cardiff and then from Cardiff to Liverpool? I am trying to decide how to logically go from place to place and where to plan my nights. Thanks for any info, Judy:)

sk8teacher Posted September 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2007 Google maps work just fine. Go to Google, click on maps, then directions. Enter your starting point and ending point. I used your first example from Stansted to Salsbury, and it shows 158 miles, and almost 3 hours drive time. Cheers,
Globaliser Posted September 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2007 Google maps work just fine. This is what I do. But for best results, go to the UK page: http://maps.google.co.uk/ This saves you having to type in the country name all the time.
pcur Posted September 8, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 8, 2007 I also use multimap.com a lot. I printed many driving instructions from it for our pre and post-cruise stays in the UK. It also has a list of countries to choose, and then you put in the address. Driving directions are a link at the top.
