It's a rainy day here southwest of Houston, Texas, but I've finished my packing and I'm cruising tomorrow!!

 

I'm planning to eat healthy while the Elation cruises south!

I'm cooking up a storm this afternoon and haven't even had a taste. (aren't I good) I'm making Cabbage Rolls, Borscht, and Baked Pork ribs. The best thing is that it is all going out of the house about 6 pm to our friends house to feed the six of them and the two of us. I intend to have a salad and two glass of water before we leave so that I am not tempted to eat any of those ribs. I made myself a couple of small cabbage rolls and the borscht I can have if I don't put that big dollap of sour cream on it. But it is fun to be cooking all day as I haven't done that in a long while.

Hope everyone is having a great day. Here in British Columbia (mountains) we are having a mixed day of clouds with the sun breaking through every so often, temp is about 75 which is much better than the 90 a week ago.

Just taking a break between house cleaning and cooking dinner for the family. Then I'll settle down to flip the TV channels between the NASCAR race (under the lights at Bristol, my favorite!) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pre-season game and maybe the Olympics too.

 

Another hot and sunny day in Florida with our eyes on Frances. :eek: Here we go again!

Hi everyone. It was a hot, humid, steamy day here and I was otuside for most of it :( . I think I probably lost three pounds in sweat. I'm trying to rehydrate myself. Everyone have a great rest of the weekend.

It was hotter today then "they" said it would be..100!

Didn't do much today (just some housework and washing) but we did BBQ tonight and enjoyed

eating otside and spending some time just relaxing.
