Suite Lounge on Legend of the Seas?

I know this has been discussed before, the search functions doesn't seem to work right now, I just get timeout errors.

 

A couple of month ago I followed a discussion where it was said that a suite lounge would be added to Legend some time in early 2008 and that it would be located where the library is right now. Also on RCL's website, there are 2 sets of deckplans for legend, one until april 2008 and one from april 2008. So I was hoping the new plans would show the lounge, but the library is still there and no mention of a suite lounge. I also sent a mail to RCL and they just gave me a list of ships that do have a suite lounge:

So, isn't a suite lounge planned for Legend anymore?

 

We are new Diamond C&A members and I would love to try out the lounge perk on our next cruise on Legend in June.

The card room on deck 7 has been converted into the Concierge Lounge.

Ah, great news! Is this just a temporary location or will it be located there permanently?

 

I wonder why customer service doesn't know this...

 

Just checked the deck plans on rccl.com again, on both the plans valid Oct. 24, 2007 - Mar. 23, 2008 and the ones valid from Mar. 30, 2008 - May 20, 2009 it still says "Card room" ond deck 7.

I was just on the Legend 3 weeks ago. I can confirm that there is

a concierge lounge and Diego does an awesome job as a concierge.

He also said there are plans to go forward with the remaining

Vision ships to convert the card rooms into a CL.

Both Legend and Splendour now have Concierge Lounges FYI - that do not appear in the list you were sent.

They know already. The lounges are only an experiment on Splendour and Legend. They may take them away or expand to the other Vision class ships. The decision is not official yet, so for the moment they are not acknowledging their existance.

Sorry, no picures that show anything other than my DH with a drink

in his hand. It's a pretty large room with a desk for the concierge and

his computer. Alcohol set up on tables and carts with some big,

overstuffed leather chairs. It's a nice perk.

I am a diamond member and I will be going on a cruise with friends who are not diamond members but we are all staying in the same cabin. Does this mean that I have access to the lounge and they don't unless we stay in a GS cabin and higher?

I´ve been on the Legend end of May and it was the second sailing having the CL in the Library. It was just great and Diego the Concierge did a phantastic job.

 

I´ve plenty pics from the Legend on my website.

You're right...someone SHOULD tell RCL...

when we sailed Liberty this summer we spoke to the loyalty ambassador about rebooking our 08 cruise onboard and switching to GS because we heard there was a concierge on the Legend.

 

She tried to confirm this for us....it took her several days and she came back with a "not sure". :eek:

 

However...concierge on Liberty emailed the Legend so he could prove to us that a concierge exists....and low and behold he does!!!!:D

 

But it was the last day...too late to rebook onboard and we lost out on the OBC - scary stuff!!!!!

Anyone think they will add one to the Vision by the Jan. 6th sailing? That sure would be great!!:D
