upgraded to OceanView Block rooms? Good or Bad?

Hi, I booked on carnival pride inner state room, and put myself on a TBA. Found out that I've been allocated an oceanview bocked view rooms. Is it a good room? it's on the Main deck, near the lift. Will it be too noisy? Any comments or advise. Tks mates!

If you would have been happy with an inside room, having an OV, even with a blocked view, will give you natural light that will make the room less "claustrophobic"!

The elevators shouldn't cause undo noise. Actually, it sounds pretty convenient!

Go for it. We have had several blocked views, and have had no problems with them. We like the natural light. And husband can't stand being in an inside room. I thought I would have that problem. Anyway, go for it.
