hlb76 Posted November 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2007 I am once again in need of help from you all knowing CC posters. We are planning our next cruise out of Maimi and hoping to fly in and out the same we get in and off the ship. Our PVP said we can buy transfers for $24/pp. Which is not to bad of a deal but a cab might be a bett4er way to go. Any one have any experince in this? There will be 4 of us. Thanks
Name game Posted November 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2007 Transfers would cost you a total of $96. I would say cab it, even if you need two cabs. It will be cheaper and less of a hassle.
serene56 Posted November 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2007 Transfers you will be paying per person. Cab you will pay per cab. (figure about 20 bucks one way) you will have to wait for the bus to fill with people-- then arrive enmass with all those people to check in. take a cab you arrive less stressed with less people and have more money for those specialty drinks pool side. Rirruto Posted November 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2007 A taxi is only $24 to the Port of Miami. You might even be able to fit all 4 of you and your luggage in a taxi van. It's much more convenient and cheaper than waiting around for the Carnival bus.
RzrLens Posted November 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 19, 2007 The cabs are SOOOO easy to catch, and are a flat $24 from the airport to the port, and the price includes up to 5 people. I would take a cab. Plus, I have heard horror stories of the transfers being late, waiting over an hour to for other passengers etc. Just take a cab! yogimax Posted November 19, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 19, 2007 How about Jacksonville? Anyone know what the cost of a cab would be from the airport to the port as opposed to the cost of a shuttle?
