NSWP Posted November 23, 2007 #8 Share Posted November 23, 2007 When you take that lanyard off with the cruise card hanging off it you feel naked. No chocs on the pillow at home either, not like Princess. Do P&O put choccies on your pillow at turn down? PS just got our Visa Card bill in from Princess for RP trip, 32 days, 31/8 - 4/10. !@#$%^&* $2000, still, thats for a few drinks, (we did quite a bit of BYOG) shore trips, duty free grog, jewellry, stuff from ships shop etc. You know what they say about money? Made round to go round. Cheers..Les
AuzzieCruiser Posted November 23, 2007 #9 Share Posted November 23, 2007 No chocolates on your pillow.:( Celebrity used to put a card on your pillow as well. It was a child's artwork, with a message inside, like a saying. It was a nice touch...just like the champagne and Horse'Douves (sp??) on embarkation!!:p
SouthAussie100 Posted November 23, 2007 #10 Share Posted November 23, 2007 agree Don, I was going to campaign for a 'world' card that opened the house door, started the car, paid for food and drinks etc etc. The first thing I hated after my first cruise was having to carry a handbag to carry all that useless mundane stuff that I need to get through a 'normal' day on land.....yyeerrkkkkkkkk ! AuzzieCruiser Posted November 23, 2007 #12 Share Posted November 23, 2007 Most cruise lines put a little chocolate on your pillow every night. Each night it is a different flavoured chocolate, though it is common to have two different chocolates on two different pillows.

I agree. $2000 for 32 days is unbelievable! You must really know how to budget. I nearly spent that alone on a 10 night cruise! lol But then again, I enjoy my alcohol, and maybe spent a bit too much time getting friendly with the casino cashier! :o
