Marriott North-Fort Lauderdale

We have booked this hotel thru Princess for our pre-cruise stay and wondered if anyone has stayed here before. Especially want to know if there is anything nearby within walking distance. We will be arriving around 1 PM and will be looking for somewhere to eat other than the hotel. Our "kids" and their spouses will be with us and we wanted to find something to entertain them for the rest of the day/evening.

 

Also have booked the transfers thru Princess and wondering what time the bus will pick us up to take us to the pier.

The Regal 16 movies is within walking distance. In same shopping center is Champps (very good), Hooters, Sweet Tomatoes, and a chain steak house (Longhorn maybe). Also Moonlite Diner at corner of Andrews and Cypress Creek.
