The Twelve Days of Christmas - Cruise Critic Style

Recommended Posts

Liberty of the Seas,

Had a very shiny bow.

And if you ever saw it,

You would surely say OH WOW!

All of the cruise pasangers

boarded on that sunny day

when they got on the ship

they ran to the buffet

Then on the last sea day

the captain came on to say:

"Passangers dont you frown,

you still have one more day."

Then the next day came.

It was time to disembark

Everyone was moaning

some "i dont wanna go home" remark.

:]]

tried my best

Dashing to the port,

On a cruise to far away...

O'er the gang we go,

Laughing all the way, ha ha ha...

Hear the Bing Bong ring,

Making spirits bright...

What fun it is to laugh and sing

A cruising song tonight....

Oh, Jingle Bells, Cruise ship sails,

Two days under way.....

Oh what fun it is to ride

On a cruise out in the spray, hey!

Jingle Bells, Cruise ship sails,

No work for me today....

Oh what fun is to sun

On the deck and drift away..

A month or two ago,

I thought I'd book a ride...

The great love of my life,

Is seated by my side...

The ship looks clean and grand,

Sun shining bright and hot....

Calypso playing band,

Makes us drink alot....

Oh, Jingle Bells, Cruise ship sails,

Three days under way....

Oh what fun it is to ride

On our way to Coco Cay, hey!

Jingle Bells, Cruise ship sails,

Another port today....

Oh what fun, we're in the sun,

Off to the lunch buffet.....

Jingle Bells, Cruise ship sails,

Now four days under way...

Oh what fun, BINGO... I WON!,

We really want to stay....

Jingle Bells, Cruise ship sails,

Now it's the last sea day,

It's no fun to leave the sun,

Just leave us here, we'll stay...

It's no fun...

To leave the sun...

Just ...Leave... Us.... Here....

We'll... Stay.

O.K. you asked for it!

I'm dreaming of a cruise vacation

Just like the ones I used to take

Where the buffet chocolate glistens

And the waiters will listen

And serve real lobster for our sake~

I'm dreaming of a balcony cabin

With in-room service every day

Where no complainers are lurking

And the deck police are working

To keep the chair hogs far away~

Oh I'm dreaming of just relaxing

And no changing itenaries

Where the table mates are sweeties

And there're raisins for my Wheaties

And calm and blue green azure seas~

I'm dreaming of a zero bar bill

And nothing owed them at the end

May your sea days be merry and bright

And may all your cruises be just right!!!

'Twas the night before Cruising', when all through the house,

All thes creature were saying, get me out of this house;

The cases were packed by front door with care,

In hopes that the snowstorm would not muck with our air;

The children were jumping on top of our bed,

While visions of soft serve ice cream, danced in their heads;

While mama packed her swimsuit, and a handy ships map,

I just closed my eyes, for a 10 minute nap,

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the creast of the new-fallen snow

looked just like the shine on the waves, from the bow,

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But Funnel Deck Freddy! with six buckets of beer!

With a man dressed in white, said "Hurry, come quick!"

I knew in a moment it was Captain Luigi St. Nick.

More rapid than teenagers, running up and down halls,

He whistled, and shouted, said "To Dunns River Falls!"

"Now, Room Steward! now, Waiter! now, Purser and Crew!

On, Room Service! on Maitre'D! on, Cruise Director and YOU!

To the top of the decks! to the top of the rock climbing wall!

Now sail away! sail away! sail away all!"

More later.... :)

"As palm trees that before the Olga hurricane fly,

When they cancel our port, we ask mournfully "why??"

So up to the pool deck the cruisers they climbed,

Hearing the first loud announcements, to be nickled and dimed.

And then, near the pool, I heard on speaker

"Get out! Get out, fast! That diapers a leaker!"

As I flew from the pool, and was turning around,

Down the rock wall Luigi St. Nick came with a bound.

He was dressed all in white, from his head to his foot,

He was looking quite hot, and knew right where to put;

The bundle of diapers he had flung on his back,

looking like Super Nanny, cleaning up little brats.

His eyes -- how they twinkled! Brass buttons, how merry!

His shoes shined like mirrors, his nose like a cherry!

I couldn't help notice, his cute little accent,

As he said "The purser said hurry!; And so I was sent!"

Free drinks of the day he held tight in his arms,

And the cruisers reacted to this Captain's charms;

He had a tan face, and his 6 pack ab belly,

which made all the girls think "that does NOT look like jelly"

He was trim, fit and handsome, not short like an elf,

And I swooned when I saw him, in spite of myself;

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,

He started a conga line; of which the crew led

He spoke not a word, but conga'd with ease,

And wiggled and jiggled and danced, then said "please",

"The diaper is gone, we've danced up a storm",

Now back to the bridge, time for sounding the HORN!

He sprang to his station, to his team gave a shout!

"Muster Drill Time!! Hiding in cabins is OUT! .

Then I heard him exclaim, after 7 long blows,

"It's time to set sail", so our glasses, we rose.

Here's another one, Sung to Chestnuts roasting on an open fire

Cruisers toasting at a Champagne Bar,

Bubbly tickling at your nose,

Calypso classics being sung by a choir,

Folks dressed up, formal gowns, tuxedos.

Everybody knows a Lobster and some fine Merlot,

Help to make the dining right.

Tiny tots on parade with Adventure 'O,

Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

You know to Labadee - we're on our way;

Lots of beach toys and games to make our day.

And every mother's child is going to spy,

To see if ziplines really go that high.

And so I'm offfering this simple phrase,

For folks from first cruise to ninety-two.

Although it's been said many times, many ways,

A very Merry Cruisemas to you.

Grandma got runned over by some rugrats,

Walking down the stairwell on our cruise.

You can say there's no such thing as bratty kids,

But Im' convinced they run in packs of two's.

She'd been drinkin' too much yellow bird,

And we'd begged her not to go.

But she had to get to Bingo,

Cuz she thought "I'm gonna win some jackpot dough!"

So we found her the next mornin',

At the scene of the attack,

There were heelie prints on her forehead,

And incriminating wheel marks on her back.

Grandma got runned over by some rugrats,

Walking down the stairwell on our cruise,

You can say there's no such thing bratty kids,

But you really should have seen that big black bruise.

Now we're all so proud of Grandpa,

He's been taking this so fine.

See him up there on by the pool, ,

saying "out of my chair you chairhog, that one's MINE!"

It's not Cruising without Grandma.

All the family's dressed in black.

But we fit right in on formal night,

Compared to other people dressed in sacks.

(Dressed in sacks!)

Now the filet of beef is on the table

and some weird thing made with figs,

and the teenie weenie lobster,

that others swore was really just a fib

I've warned all my fellow CC'ers,

Be careful on your cruise!

They should never let those rugrats,

where those really f*&$%^@ stupid wheelie shoes!
