Liquor on board

I know the rules of no taking of liquor into cabins and only one bottle of wine or champagne but what have been recent experiences on getting them on?

When I booked there were no limits on wine and champagne. Beer?

We have never had a problem carrying on liquor for our 9 cruises. We put it into our carryon.

Some embarkation ports are tightening with Princess lately. If you plan to take on any items, such as liquor, I wouldn't put it in the carry ons any longer. They aren't confiscating it from checked bags but I have seen them take it away when placed in carry ons. I think they are beginning to enforce the rules more with each passing week.

The first rule of liquor on board is that we don't talk about liquor on board.

We always put it in our checked luggage and have never had a problem.
