How to spend 4 hours in FLL?

Our flight from LAX has changed and been delayed 2 hours. We arrive in FLL at 7:05AM and leave that day on the Coral (January 16th). Does one feel it worth the money to book a hotel room for a couple of hours....or should we just find a hotel...leave luggage with concierge and have breakfast and try to check in early? Would love some ideas!

Keep in mind that you will likely be able to board the cruise ship around 12:00 Noon so I don't see where you would want to get a hotel.

 

I guess you could go over to a nearby hotel and have breakfast and ask the bell hops to hold your luggage while you are eating.

Thats what we are going to do....any suggestions for a good breakfast not too far from the port?
