Cajun restaurant recommendations - NOLA

Coming into NOLA this weekend before our cruise. This is our first visit to NOLA. Any recommendations on a Cajun restaurant for Sat night? We are staying at the Homewood Suites on Poydras Street, so something local/in the French Quarter would be great. I know this is last minute considering the Sugar Bowl is going on, so our options might be limited.

Real cajun is country cooking--ost NOLA resturants are creole--real

cajun try Olivers.

We ate at Mulattes near the port at Julia Street. Wonderful food and interesting entertainment and awesome prices!

We love Mulate's. The bands are always great and I love watching the locals dance. Plus it's close to the Quarter without being in the Quarter...we always stay in that area too.

We always eat at the Gumbo Shop on St Peter in the Quarter. Best food we've ever found in NOLA - and that's saying a lot! Mix of Cajun and Creole choices.
