Port of Miami parking?

The last time we cruised out of Miami parking for the disabled was free at the port. Does anyone know if this is still the case? It's been awhile for us. Thanks.

I'm sorry I don't know but here's a link to the port of Miami website with parking info: http://www.miamidade.gov/portofmiami/directions_parking.asp I don't see any mention of handicap parking costs. They do list a phone number so perhaps giving them a call at (305) 347-4844 could help you get the info you are looking for.

We were there and parked Dec.20, and my DH has a handicapped tag in the window. they just took the information from the tag and we didn't have to pay anything. Now the parking is $20. a day, so we were glad to not have to pay. We haven't been there in a few years and it has changed a lot. they now have a parking garage but you have to walk back to the terminal. Not too far. Terminal also is much nicer now, leaving and coming back to receive luggage, is a breeze.

At this time, handicapped parking is free. The only requirement is to fill out a short form that is provided at the Toll Booth as you leave. For your convenience, you can send me your name and mailing address. In return, I will send you a form you can have pre-filled and ready for your exit.
