B2B cruises out of Miami and then FLL

We live in SW broward county and are taking back to back cruises. The first out of the port of miami and then the second out of the port of fort lauderdale.

 

So, we need to get to the port of Miami, then from there to port everglades, then from port everglades home.

 

At the parking rates they're charging that is 250.00 for parking! A taxi to do the same will likely be close to that price.

 

Any less expensive suggestions???

Technically they are not B2B they are 2 cruises.

Do you disembark & embark on the same day?

 

You could always book a hotel with cruise parking & take a shuttle or cab to the port then back to Hotel on the return of 2nd cruise.

I apologize for misuse of the terminology.

 

We disembark and embark on the same day so, unfortunately, a hotel is not an option for us.

 

Because we are a party of 4 it appears a shuttle service will cost as much as parking.

 

Am still shocked that parking will be $250.00. That is highway robbery in my opinion.

If you arrive the night before the 1st cruise you could park at the hotel, leave the car there for the duration then just take a cab to the port .

some offer a shuttle for a small fee but from the Emabssy suites airport hotel it cost us $30 with tip to POM.

Not sure if the FLL port parking is cheaper than MIA but might be worth checking.

 

some hotels will let you park for a small fee even if you do not stay there.

Check out www.buyreservations.com even if you never stay in the hotel the parking is free for quite a number of locations and the trade-off may be worth it.
