Serenade of the Seas - JS 1584

We have booked Junior Suite 1584 on the Serenade of the Seas for our upcoming vacation. Is anybody familiar with this cabin? We are fairly close to the stairs in the aft of the ship. This didn't bother me when I booked the cabin, but now I'm having second thoughts. I also see that the Windjammer Cafe is on the deck right above us. Are we going to suffer through noise right above us 24/7? Lastly, it looks like there is a hump on this deck right to the front of our balcony. Will we have privacy on our balcony?;)

My brother did complain about the noise. He didn't have 1584, but he had 1086. He was not a happy camper.

We also had 1086 which is one cabin further back and on the other side of the ship. The stairs were not a bother at all. When the door is closed , you hardly know they are there and they are for crew use only.

We did hear some rumbling noise kind of like distant thunder for a few minutes around 6 am on a few mornings, but we just rolled over and went back to sleep. No big deal.

You are just behind the "hump" so you will not be able to look along the side of the ship all the way to the front, but I don't think it will affect the privacy unless your neighbors really crane their necks around! Just try to be REALLY quiet!!!!!
