transfer booking to ta?

Hi- i booked solstice 1-4-09 thru celebrity's website about 2 months ago. I am considering attempting to transfer to my ta because she is offering a limo to and from airport as well as pre paid gratuities, my question is, will this in any way affect my room choice, etc. ? I booked the new ac and am thrilled with the location of my room, wouldn't want to chance losing it- Can't afford to cruise that often so I want it to be perfect! Has anyone done this before? thanks, any advice appreciated!

I usually book on board or directly with the cruise line. Then I transfer to a T/A to get the perks, as well as someone to watch the rates in case they drop.

 

Just make sure you transfer the actual booking number and you will be able to keep your stateroom.

We do the same thing. We book with the cruise line and then transfer the booking to our TA. Never had a problem keeping the same cabin. But you do need to give them your booking number and everything else stays the same.
