SIL, thanks for the links.

We have booked RS 1041 for the 3/22 Century cruise. My wife and I have cruised in the past and this will be our daughter's 1st, she is 17 and a Sr. at DBHS. We thought that a RS would be the way to go for the 3 of us.

My wife and I were fortunate to have cruised on some holiday cruises (before children) with my parents who were regular world cruisers with Cunard. We haven't been to sea since our last cruise on the Sagafjord for Christmas/New Years 87/88.

We wanted to start our daughter out slowly and that is why we selected the 5 nighter on The Century.

Happy cruising!

My DH is originally from Kingsport and we lived there before moving to JC in '90. One of my very best friends just retired from DB. :)

My husband and I will be on the Century next month. We don't need to wait for spring breaks anymore as our children are all out of high school (and two out of college!)

Our oldest daughter was 18 when we first started cruising in 2000 and the younger two were 15 and 12. . We took a 4 nighter with Disney after doing a Disney trip. The children have been on several cruises with us, but mostly DH and I cruise without them. Our middle daughter has taken a couple on-her-own.

The RS should be really nice! We normally book two staterooms and put the three children together in one. I think with the three of you, unless your daughter brings a friend, a larger suite will be best for you. With four, you can do better - price wise, if you had two separate smaller veranda cabins. That way, you end up with two bathrooms, as well.;)

Once I found this board, I have become addicted and we average cruising about 2 times a year.
