Ship activity while docked in Bermuda

I'm thinking about going on a cruise to Bermuda this Spring. The cruise I'm looking at will be docked for 3 days (Costa Fortuna, April 6th). I'm a little concerned about this. Unlike a lot of people, I actually enjoy the days at sea. I enjoy the ship activities. Usually, whenever the ship is docked shipboard activity seems dead. Is this the case when docked in Bermuda? Will the casinos and bars be closed? I would think so, but I'm not sure.

Also, I usually like to purchase large amounts of alcohol to take home. It's usually cheaper on shore than it is on the ship. Is alcohol as cheap in Bermuda as it is in the Caribbean?

The casinos will be closed. The bars will be open.

I love cruising to Bermuda and would love the three days there but I would never go in early April. It is not the Caribbean and it won't be beach weather then.

We found the alcohol to be cheaper on board, but then it may depend on what you're looking for. Since you'll be docked you can easily do some comparison shopping. Nothing is really cheap in Bermuda.:)

I just looked at the details of that cruise and you are not there for three whole days. You don't arrive until 2:00 pm on day four. You spend day five there and leave at 6 am on day six.

I didn't say 3 whole days. My point was that we are there for 3 days, which means 2 nights docked. No matter when we arrive or depart, we will still be there for 2 nights. I just don't want 2 nights of our 7 night cruise to be spent on a dead boat. I guess I should have specified, it's the night activities that I'm concerned about.

I guess it really doesn't matter now. If it's going to be chilly I'd rather go to the Caribbean.

I don't know why they dock there that second night and leave at 6:00 am the next morning. Seems odd.

I doubt the ship would be dead at night. They will have nighttime activities.

The temperatures would probably be in the high sixties in the daytime and the low sixties in the evening. Bermuda is not in the tropics. Think the Carolina's. Personally I prefer warmer temperatures when I go to Bermuda.

Low-mid 70's in April by day and a few degrees lower at night.

You can buy booze at export prices and they (liquor stores) will deliver to the ship. The export prices are excellent - we often buy bottles when we go away, to give to relatives and friends.
