Anybody try southwest airlines?

I don't use them very often since they don't fly to MN but the couple of experiences I have had with them have been good. With the new boarding process, no need to line up 1-2 hours before departure to get a good seat - just check in at T-24 hours.

 

Their in-flight service and friendly cabin crew is a breath of fresh air after being on the other legacy carriers.

 

As with all airlines, if flying to a cruise, allow plenty of time and if at all possible, arrive a day early.

I fly SWA eight to twelve times a year:

 

--new boarding process is a huge improvement.

--fly mornings and they are usually on time.

--crews seem happy, efficient and professional.

--their point to point system allows me more non-stop flights.

--their Rewards program is simple and I usually pickup a free ticket every

year or two.

--the majority of flights out of ABQ are SWA, so I have many options.

I usually find the SWA crew to be a friendly and jovial group. They also seem to be pretty good with on-time arrivals and take-offs. When we were late in December because of equipment problems, they held our connection for 10 minutes so that we could make it and the bags arrived just fine.
