Is there a sliding scale re the cost of children under 11 sharing a cabin? Or in other words what I really need to know is ... do they charge the same price for a 16 month old baby as they would an older child?

Yes, everyone pays the same price.

EDIT: Unless there is a 3rd and 4th passenger rate. ;)

Yes, all additional passengers in a cabin are at the same rate.

If they are the third and 4th passenger in the cabin, they will be charged the 3rd and 4th cruise rate...doesn't matter how old they are. NCL only charges port charges and taxes for infants and Disney also discounts children.

Yes the price is the same. Unless the one of them is a 3rd or 4th person then you get the reduced rate. But it doesn't matter what age you are. There are no child fares. Sounds crazy but true:(

Yes they do, there is the fare for the 1st and 2nd passenger in the room and then usually a much lower fare for 3rd and 4th passengers, and the fare has nothing to do with age, you will pay the same for a 3 month old or a 30 year old.
