Recommendations for line for Egypt cruise

We are looking at Egypt for 2009. We are interested in trying a different line then Amadeus which we did for Russia. Any recommendations to look into? I know some of the 2009 schedules are not out yet.

We are doing our first river cruise in September. It is a Nile River cruise on Amadeus. Do you not want to use Amadeus again due to something that they did or didn't do; or are you just wanting to explore other river cruise companies?

We went to Egypt 2 years ago with Grand Circle. The trip included 6 nights in Cairo and a week cruise on the Nile from Luxor to Aswan. It was a wonderful trip.

We have friends doing Egypt with GCT this March and another couple doing the same trip next year. We have decided to go with R.Crusoe and Sons (Sonesta St. George) for a few difference in sites. Both are top notch companies.

We cruised this past Feb. with Uniworld, very nice. 2 nites at the Cairo Marriott, 7 nites on the Nile, and 2 more nites at the Marriott. Just wish we had stayed a few extra nites on our own. Please just look at all the lines and what they include. Ours and some others were all inclusive except for Abu Simbel. It was well worth the extra money. The nile is mesmerizing--felt like I was in a time warp. Have not heard of any complaints about any the the lines. Good luck. Pat

We also did GCT. Our trip was Feb 2007. It was wonderful. We have booked another GCT trip in Sept 2008 (Rhine and Mosel).
