iowacruiser5 Posted February 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2008 Hello! We are looking for something to do while on St. Kitts. It will be the last port for the cruise and we have plenty of excursions...but aren't necessarily opposed to doing another one <if it's worth it>. What are some entertaining things to do on the island...or should we just relax and shop? I saw an excursion involving golfing from our cruise line...was it worth the money <looked to be between 100-150USD>, how was the course, etc? Thanks in advance for all of your advice!!! Aplmac Posted February 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2008 If you're historically minded Brimstone Hill Fortress has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. http://www.brimstonehillfortress.org/ will give you details. We were there in early January 2008 and there's quite a bit to see on this fairly extensive and well preserved site. Check out my Brimstone Hill pics at http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w219/aplmac/OCEAN%20VILLAGE%20Two%20-%20Jan%2008/BRIMSTONE%20HILL%20-%20St%20Kitts/ and my St.Kitts (generally) pics at http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w219/aplmac/OCEAN%20VILLAGE%20Two%20-%20Jan%2008/St%20KITTS/ They're not much, but they might get you thinking.
