Thanks for posting this, I am one who doesnt get the emails.

I'm another one that can't seem to get the e-mails either, so thanks for posting the "one day sale" information.

I did call Carnival, and our sailing price has gone up $30 pp, but then for the one day sale is discounted by $30 pp, so :( there was no additional savings for us. Oh . . . well . . . it took me more time to type out this post than the time I spent on the phone with Carnival, so at least I didn't really waste any time. Maybe another "one day sale" will work for us.

I only receive Carnival e-mails if I don't have a cruise booked. If I have a cruise booked, I do not get them.

I'm in trouble then, I have had as many as 8 cruises booked at one time (well two were B2B 3/4 day cruises but still thats 2 right?), now I only have a few Carnival bookings. I would be so totally stressed without anything booked I couldnt stand it.

Carnival is making the wrong assumption that if we have a cruise booked no sense in sending the sales emails we dont want another....!!

I keep two CCL on-line accounts. One that I actually book cruises through and another one (with a different email address) that I don't book through. I get emails at the second email address but not at the first. The emails always seem to come from a PVP or at least they have some unknow PVPs name on them.

I've read many posters who report that they never get email if a cruise is currently booked -- that's why I created the second account.

I totally agree with you, firefly! I've been watching this pattern of e-mails for quite some time, and this is how it has been working for me.

CruisinMermaid: Glad I'm not the only one! I've thought the same thing...don't they want my business?

I wonder who sends them out? Maybe each individual PVP sends them out to their mailing list? In any I case, we didn't get it either, even though I am in "shopping mode" for our next cruise.

I had a PVP that promised over and over to forward them to me. Then later I would call and she would say well she was sure I wasnt interested in the last one so she didnt forward it. Then she would promise again, never would get them. She was also screwing up other things, not very bright and I finally complained about something so her boss said she would forward them and make sure I got them. Never got any from her either, so I booked thru a TA this last time, gave up on Canival, they should be able to find a way to get sale emails out.

Yes, I know I could maintain two accounts but I shouldnt have to. At least some kind person here on CC usually posts the sales.
