Hotel Jazz

Just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Hotel Jazz in Barcelona and how was your experience.

Our friends stayed there and they were very pleased! They have already recommended the hotel to several other couples. It's in a nice location and they felt the hotel was clean with helpful staff.

This hotel has been mentioned quite a few times on this board and those that have stayed there all have had positive things to say about it.

Do a search with the words 'Jazz'.

Check out the reviews on Trip Advisor. I think it's their #4 rated hotel.

My son & I stayed there at end of Oct 07. Used it as a day room as had late flight out and wanted place to dump luggage and freshen up before flight.

 

Arived soon after 9am and asked to store bags. When they realised that we were not staying the night the receptionist was wonderful and gave us a room immediately even though check in is about 2pm!

 

Lovely, very modern room and great bathroom. No view but that didn't matter to us. Literally short stroll from hotel and you are at Catalyna Square and top of the ramblas. Brilliant location.

 

Would definitely stay there if we are in Barcelona again. Even has a pool on the roof, what more could you ask for.

My wife & I stayed there2 summers ago pre cruise. The hotel is lovely & we were very pleased. It's within walking distance of Las Ramblas plus all of the 3 lines of the Hop On/Off buses were right there. There is even a Starbuck's about 1 block away.
