Itineraries

I think it's more temerity than anticipation. They have been selling these same old itineraries well and might be afraid people won't flock to different ones. Perhaps when the second new build appears in 2010 they may get a bit more adventurous. Or we'll have four SB ships crossing each other in the Med.

Why would you ever cruise with a line you think acts with temerity?

Does anyone else see no reason whatsoever for spending thousands more on the same itinerary just to be on the Odyssey? And I do mean literally thousands. As always, I was checking the Caribbean trips. I don't mean to take anything away from the Odyssey at all; I'm sure it will be splendid. I guess I still prefer the smaller ships. Anyway, I was also disappointed that the triplets don't look like they will be doing the southern Caribbean (embarkation Barbados) once the Odyssey is on the scene.

I sail with SB because they only act that way when it comes to new itineraries. They more than make up for it in so many other ways. And I will question that as much as i like whether it pleases other posters and travel agents or not.
