josh, katie, janie,&baby Posted February 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2008 We are going to the Caribbean in March on Holland America. Should I bring our own beach towels for trips to the beach on-shore? Or does the ship provide some? If they do provide them, are they big enough? Quality enough? Thanks!!! sk8teacher Posted February 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2008 HAL provides very nice beach towels for you, and if you don't think they are big enough, take two!! Save the room in your luggage and enjoy your cruise! Cheers,
cb at sea Posted February 12, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2008 All of the ships provide towels for use at the pool and on excursions. If you were to bring towels, they would NEVER dry! Best to use what the ship offers, and their towel replacement services!
Cruise Dragon Posted February 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2008 My wife and I bring our own beach for a number of reasons: 1- We can tell which ones are ours if we go swimming. 2- At least on Celebrity and Carnival they charge a lot if you don't return the towel at the end of the cruise. This way if we lose a towel we are not out that much money. Walter
prttygirlmss Posted February 13, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Use the ships towels and do not forget a beach bag to carry them if you take them off the boat.:)
Rare YoPhilly Posted February 16, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2008 Use the ship's towels. They're perfectly adequate.
