Food on Majesty of the Seas

Hi -

My husband & I are thinking of going on the Majesty of the Seas and he is concerned over food quality as someone we know stated the food on RCL is not as good at other cruise lines??? We are not picky people and we've been on NCL, Carnival and Celebrity. Is the food decent on Majesty of the Seas?

Also the inside state rooms are they really tiny?

Thank you!

The food is good--better than decent. Don't expect Celebrity quality or gourmet at this bargain price, but some of it is quite good.

The inside staterooms and the regular oceanviews ARE tiny. If you spend little time in the room it doesn't matter, but if you do, they're a bit of a pain. If size matters to you, spend a few extra $ for the superior oceanviews, which are more like a normal size cabin on other ships.

FYI--I've been on the Majesty 4 times, so it can't be TOO bad!;)

The food is fine...not great, but is good enough. It's banquet food...same as you would find at any hotel for a corporate event or wedding reception, but with more variety.

Inside cabins are small...but you won't be spending that much time there anyway. Smaller cabins mean larger public areas, so it's a trade off. Some people like the larger cabins of other cruise lines, but then they complain how crowded the ship feels. I never felt crowded on Majesty.
