Travel Agencys.. Just for perks?

Just received several different offers from travel agents. The only thing that was different was the "perks" they offer. Is this the norm? The price I was quoted was exactly the same as I got when I went through RC website myself. One was for a free cruise for 2, and the others all consisted of OBC and free insurance.

 

Speaking of insurance, when does this have to be added? When you book the cruise? Just before the cruise?

RCI doesn't allow discounts, so all the prices will be the same. So, yes--only the perks vary!

Most ins. has to be done at or soon after booking. It depends on the coverages!

Generally, if you buy the insurance within 14 days of booking, you are covered for pre-exisiting conditions.

You won't get a free cruise for 2 from any reputable agency! and the others all consisted of OBC and free insurance. This is possible, but be sure to read all the fine print!

 

Speaking of insurance, when does this have to be added? When you book the cruise? Just before the cruise? If you have any pre-existing conditions you need to buy travel insurance within two weeks of booking. You can buy insurance up until the day you sail.
