LIberty balcony room

We have a balcony on the liberty on the upper deck. 8A is the code but have not gotten the actual room assignment yet. Is this a good deck??

Depends where you are "put" on the upper deck. We had 6220 on our first ever CCL cruise - booked last minute cause a hurricane wiped our our land-based all inclusive we'd had booked in Cancun. Got the last quad cabin available. Even though we were over the showroom, we were lucky, and it wasn't too noisy at all. (we were surprised) Being on the upper deck, you could be over a lounge, the casino, etc., and you could have a noise factor involved. Getting a guarentee on an 8B cabin might be better (and is usually only a coupld of dollars more) cause you will be "sandwiched" between cabins. Hope this helps!

We were initially 8A on the Liberty (ended up getting upgraded to 8D and the Lido deck) and our room number was 6277. Hope that helps you to figure out where an 8A might be.

8A means they will assign you a balcony cabin of their choice. We booked an 8A for the March 15th sailing and our room is on the Lido deck. It is all luck of the draw. When you book a guaratee, you usually pay a bit less, with the understanding they will assign you a room. I have always had good luck booking guarantees. Happy sailing.
