Can you please recommend what we should do on a day visit to Teneriffe in November?

 

Even though our visit will be brief, we are so excited about our itinerary, as we are unlikely to visit the Canary and Madeira Islands again.

Even though our visit will be brief, we are so excited about our itinerary, as we are unlikely to visit the Canary and Madeira Islands again.

 

We just returned from a fantastic cruise (Rio - Athens) and one of our stops was Teneriffe.

 

Carlos Martinez (our fantastic driver) drove the four of us around all day. His command of the English language is great and his knowledge of the island and its surroundings was shared with great enthusiasm and Witt. I will highly recommend him to anyone visiting the island. If you have the chance you must go to Mount Teide, an extinct volcano. The original crater is a few miles across and you can go to the very top of the new crater by cable car. It is a fantastic journey.
