pepelapew Posted March 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Just wondering if anyone really knows how often the Blankets, Bedspreads, Duvet Covers get changed? What about the pillows? I'm sure the sheets get changed out every week or when you completed your cruise right?
Missus Makkem Posted March 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Just wondering if anyone really knows how often the Blankets, Bedspreads, Duvet Covers get changed? What about the pillows? I'm sure the sheets get changed out every week or when you completed your cruise right? Not sure, but they do not have both blankets and duvets, and the sheets and pillowcases are changed every other day or so.
cb at sea Posted March 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Our sheets were changed every other day, unless we requested daily. I'm sure the other "outer" linens are only done when they actually get dirty.
Carnival Game Posted March 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Probably the same as hotels -- not nearly often enough.
GSuitesailing Posted March 17, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Our sheets on the Explorer and the Liberty were not changed the entire week. We asked why and were told it was for their Save the Waves program. Unless someone asks them to be changed, they won't be.
Desertbelle Posted March 17, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 17, 2008 How often do you change your bed linens at home? Daily? I sure don't. I like that they only do it every few days unless asked to do otherwise. It's not a bad thing that the cruise ships are trying to "Save the Whales". As long as the sheets are clean for me when I get there, I don't need or expect them to change unless I spill something on them.
pmfan Posted March 17, 2008 #8 Share Posted March 17, 2008 If you feel you must have them changed more frequently just ask.

maria1122 Posted March 17, 2008 #11 Share Posted March 17, 2008 We were on the Explorer in Feb. and the linens were changed every day. I know they were because a few times I was sitting on the balcony reading while the attendent was making up the room. And yes it is called "save the waves"
Gonzo70 Posted March 17, 2008 #12 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Maybe it is to prevent global warming. Seeing how cold it has been the last couple winters world wide, I would say they are doing a great job not changing the sheets and blankets! Barkeeper Posted March 17, 2008 #13 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Last year on Jewel our sheets were changed every day. I hope it was not related to it being our 30th anniversary and a sign on our door to announce it!
