2009 Europe itineraries

I hope someone from Azamara reads these boards. The 2009 European itineraries were supposed to be available yesterday, but as of today, the Azamara website still has not been updated. My travel agent was able to email me a summary of the itineraries, but not the details. My past few cruises have been on Oceania, but I'm interested in seeing what Azamara has to offer, and I always look on the cruiseline websites first to narrow down my options before I contact my travel agent.

Hi Wineart !

As Jan showed on the above post (Thanks Jan !), the itineraries are published. I often find that both Celebrity and Azamara do not put the itineraries on their websites as quick as they should. While that is unfortunate, all you have to do is call Captains Club, and they can give you the information you need, and you can book through them, or your Travel Agent. Good luck !

I just checked the Azamara website again, and the drop down menu for cruise date selection now shows May 2009 onward. Unfortunately, when you select any month starting April 2009 and after, the only itineraries that come up are for 2008...........

There still seem to be problems. I looked for the May 23 western europe cruise that was in the listing that was posted above, and it's not showing on the website. This is getting really frustrating.....

Jan,once again you've come through for us. We just started thinking of Azamara over Oceania, which I love dearly. It come down to some different itins and better fares. For a PH2 for either 16 or 18 days in Europe on O the fare would be close to either $6,000 pp or $7,000 per person without using O's air. That adds up to about another $2,000 pp on DL's Business Elite. With my backin such bad shape. I'll only fly first or business class. Of, course, it also means that I'm a brat. Is it even possible to compare the two lines yet? I know that you sailed on Azamara and would love to hear if the have cabins similar to our PH cabins that are waiting for us on deck 8. Thanks for any help, Jan. I followed your posts years ago when you were the one with the most info on rssc cruises and then followed you over to the Oceania boards. I'm really not a stalker but love getting infor from Jan.Hoping to see a post soon.

I cant thank you enough for the kind words..I dont think you are a brat, at my age if I dont fly business class I cant walk for a week after I get off the plane (so who says getting old is golden..LOL)

When I was on Azamara, I stayed in an A category but of course did look in on the sky suites and take pictures..

It is more modern and up to date then O's and to tell the truth I loved the feel of the staterooms..

The bathroom was laid out quite different ..as you know the Quest and Journey did not have suites so Azamara designed their own and dropped them in..I think they did a superb job..I am hoping if all is well to do some cruising on Azamara this summer and maybe I will meet some of the people on this board..

As soon as I make my decision I will post..

I hope this helps, please dont hesitate to ask any thing else and if I dont know the answer, I will find out!

Thanks Andy for your speedy reply. That's the website I tried originally but I think they were either having some problems at the time or my web internet access company was. Things are working fine now and I've been checking out the 14 day Italy cruise. Looks nice!

Has anyone taken this itinerary yet? Would like to hear some reviews about the ports.

Yahoo!!!!! after the long wait its all go!!! We can get 30th June 09 Baltic and get cabin 7060. Have to do deposit by Friday.

My questions are.

1)Port side for this tour a good choice? Copenhagen - Copenhagen

2)Is 7060 a good cabin? ie. positon, size, noise etc.

3) Weather is it like at this time?

4) Pre or after cruise recommendations from previous experience. Is Copenhagen accessable from most airports in Europe? or is there closer places worth a look see? We are coming all the way from NZ!!! so have to max our touring the time frame of 4 - 41/2 weeks.

Cheers....... anyone else thinking of doing this?
