How late can we of FOS?

Hi,

Were on FOS next weekend,:D im wondering whats the best way to get late disembarkation?

 

When we get off the Freedom were going to South Beach for a few days before flying home, i know that check-in at the hotel isnt til 3ish so were in no hurry to leave the ship (who would be) so if we could leave later sooner than earlier that would suit us better..........I know you have to be off by certain time so they can get ready for the next lucky lot.

 

Would we be better taking off our own bags or put them out the night before?

 

Is it more manic the later you get off?

You have to be off by about 9:30 to 10:00. You can bring your own bags off and then you can leave before anyone can.

There's really no reason to linger--all that wonderful service and ambiance that you've had the entire cruise is conspicuously missing that last morning. Since you have to be totally out of your cabin at 8am, you may as well go. Head to your hotel, check your bags with the bell captain, and they will let you use the pool! (They'll have rooms ready before 3pm--they always do!)

Just go to guest relations and ask for luggage tags for last color call.

On a related note, we will choose self-disembarkment, just like last year.

 

Since our flight is not until 12:30 PM, we don't have to be at FLL until 10:30-ish. That means we don't have to leave the port until 9:30AM.

 

Assuming customs takes an hour, even with our own bags, will they let us self-disembark at 8:30?

 

(I know it sounds stupid, what are they gonna do, make us stay on the boat? ;) )
