Alghero,Sardinia

We will be in Alghero in Aug. and want to find out what there is to do on our own. Is there taxis available? Or does anyone know of a private guide and driver. We will be six people. Any help would be welcome. Richie :)

Speaking of Alghero, has anyone done the "Taste of Sardinia" excursion with a tour and tasting at the Sella & Mosca winery? We booked this excursion through O for our upcoming port call in Alghero and wonder what previous cruisers have thought about it.
