Can you tell me what beach this was in Cozumel? It looks relaxing. :D

I don't know the name of the beach. It was a private beach. It was included in the "Deluxe Sail/Snorkel and Beach Break" offered through Carnival. The cost was $62 and all drinks were included - pop, beer and margaritas.

Did you enjoy the Catamaran tour on Cozumel? Was the snorkelling nice? About how long were you out on the catamaran.

Thanks for taking the time to do the review. It is helping a lot with our upcoming Glory cruise.

We did enjoy the tour - it was very relaxing. The snorkeling was not that great - just not a lot of fish to sea. I think it took about 20 minutes to get out to the area where we snorkeled. Some people stayed on the catamaran and soaked up the sun. We were probably stopped for about 40 minutes. Then it was about 10 more minutes to the private beach. We spent about an hour there - relaxing and drinking more margaritas. Then about a 30 minute ride back. They had the music pumped up and the beer and margaritas were flowing. I know we were supposed to be back at 5:30, but it was about 5:50 when we arrived. It was a Carnival based excursion, so we weren't worried. We were the last people to get back on the ship.

Love reading your review. Family and I will be on the Glory on Aug. 23/08. Can you tell me the cost for the cave tubing and what time the tour started and ended. Thanks.

The price was $45 per person and an extra $5 for lunch. We were told to get an early tender off of the ship. As soon as we were all there, he started the tour - approximately 9:30. We were back at the port by 3:00.

Awesome, awesome review! Have enjoyed it so far, and you may it feel like we are all on the ship with you. The pictures are great, and give a nice personal touch. My family and I are sailing on the Glory August 23 (128 days!), and I have shared this post with the rest of the family.

Your review is making the anticipation of my cruise just that much sweeter!

After two busy port days (Cozumel and Belize), we were more than ready for a day of relaxation. I left DH sleeping soundly when I slipped out of the room at 7:30 and headed for the Lido Deck. I found Gena's book and towels and assumed she was already on the track. I grabbed a couple more lounges next to her and ran to fill my mug with my morning chocolate/caramel latte. Then it was back to my chair to sit back and enjoy watching the Glory "come to life". The rest of the girls (Tonya, Arlette, and Chris) made their way out to join us before long and we usually saw our men by late morning. Of course, they NEVER sat in the sun. They roamed the decks, watched some basketball and volleyball, played a little corn-hole and drank a lot of Miller Lite.

The following were pretty much my views for the day....

Of course, Tad had to get a photo of us girls doing what we do best. Notice the Carnival guy with the drink tray. We utilized this MORE than once!!

These days at sea would probably seem pretty boring to most - 'cause we really didn't do anything. We laid in the sun, read our books, listened to music, and drank foo-foo drinks from early morning until late afternoon. Life just doesn't get much better! After a day of total relaxation, we showered and got dressed and ready for our Dinner Club reservation. The Glory's Dinner Club is called the Emerald Room. There is a $30 per person charge for this reservation, but it was probably the best dinner any of us have ever had. We were told to allow 2 1/2 hours for the "dining experience". The cuts of meat are brought to your table and described in great detail. Everything is very relaxed - not rushed. We drank wine, took photos of our food, watched a beautiful sunset, and enjoyed our wonderful dinner with friends.

OK, so now after 2+ hours of eating we go back to our rooms - change into comfy clothes and then it's on to the "DECK PARTY" which starts at 11:30 p.m. Under the stars on the LIDO Deck, a DJ playing, lots of Electric Slide and Cha Cha Slide and a Mexican Buffet to boot.

We crawled into bed sometime around 1:00 a.m.

Thanks so much for the details of the cave tubing. I'm really, really looking forward to it! I've read great things about Major Tom and his crew on the Belize board.

My first opportunity to dine in a supper club was on Miracle in December and, somehow, it never happened. Actually, the one morning I called I was told they were booked for that evening. Turns out one of our tablemates was there that night and he said it was half empty!

That steak sure looks better than what we had in the Purple Grape dining room on Miracle!

We're on the "new" 4-port itinerary next month, but this detail really makes me want the next couple of weeks to fly by!

Thursday was spent pretty much the same as Wednesday - up early and on the Lido Deck with my book and coffee. I noticed every morning (at sea) that there would be a group of six to eight lounges in several areas around us - that had been marked with towels, books, shoes, etc. - long before my 7:30 a.m. arrival. I sat there and watched and the earliest ANYONE arrived in those lounges was 10:00 a.m. I'm honestly thinking that they got up EARLY, ran out there - marked their territory and went back to bed. I think instead of those guys trying to sell me drinks every five minutes at 8:00 a.m. need to be cleaning off lounge chairs that go unused for 30 minutes or more. (Just my opinion).

So, with the sunshine, drinks, music and Lido Deck contests - this day was a carbon copy of the day before - EXCEPT for the Chocolate Extravaganza, held in conjunction with the lunch buffet. I don't think I ever saw this much chocolate in one place at one time. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

After gorging ourselves on chocolate - it was back to our lounge chairs to watch the afternoon Lido Deck entertainment - the Survivor Contest. About 4:00, we made our way back to the cabin for a shower and a nap before our second Formal Night. We had also scheduled photographs with our group of 40 for 7:00 in the main atrium. A Carnival photographer met with us and took several family shots and group shots. They told us that they would print 20 copies so that each family could purchase the group photo.

After dinner, it was back to our room for a quick change and then off to the White Heat for a little dancing.

We had to "party" in order to stay up late again. Tonight was the Grand Gala Buffet. Photos from 11:00 until 11:45 and then you could eat at midnight. We weren't interested in eating - just viewing.

After a quick stop back at the White Heat for some more dancing, it was off to bed - because we'll be docking early in the morning in Nassau.

yes, we are loving your review!!! I go on the Glory in 9 days and I am ready to go NOW... I love to look at the Gala Buffet but I NEVER get to eat any because I dont feel its very sanitary to watch people talk, laugh, sneeze, cough etc all over the food while taking pictures and viewing them. I have seen these things take place on several cruises and was was extremely grossed out. I think Carnival should have all these things blocked behind a glass window or something similar to the buffet line where the food is blocked by the glass. I know so much food must go to waste.

Absolutely LOVE your review and I am really enjoying all the pictures attached. I started looking at your pictures and wondering why you looked so familiar until I realized that I had spent many days looking at your scrapbook pages :) My husband and I were on the Triumph last year for our 1st anniversary and I am in the process of completing a scrapbook for that cruise and I have to admit that I have gotten a lot of ideas from your pages. You did a wonderful job and I look forward to seeing more, they have been extremely helpful in getting me going. We don’t leave for our next cruise until October so I guess I have lots of time to get this one finished. Thanks again for the great review !!!

Are you on the "new" itinerary? Coz, Belize, Roatan and Freeport?

You MUST post a detailed review along with capers when you return! Oh, and take pics of the menus each night so I can decide which one doesn't appeal as much and can book the supper club that evening.

Thanks in advance! :p

Yes I will be on the new itinerary for the W.Caribbean for the ports you mentioned above. I definitely plan to return the favor to all of cruise critic with a review and pics etc. I will be sure to take pics of the menus and post with the review. We will book the supper club for both of the formal nights, so we can have an elegant/romantic evening for 2 :D.
