Those who have cruised recently on the Freedom are their hair dryers in the cabins?? Some say yes some say no.

Yes, they are located inside the desk drawer.

They are not very powerful - if you have long or thick hair, you may want to bring your own.

I am happy to hear they are not the ones in the bathroom w/ the long tubing that gets hot. I take it they are the hard handled ones???

Yes, but they are very small and noisy. More noise than blowing/drying power.

I thought the one on the Freedom was fine and I never used the one I brought with me.

The hair dryer in our room worked great. Plenty of power. It took the same amount of time to dry my hair as my own did, no longer.

I agree, I brought my own and ended up using the one in the drawer. It was just as powerful and easy to use as my own and I have long hair. They must be upgrading the models they used in the past. If you're on the Freedom, I say leave your hairdryer home.

Worked great - plenty powerful ! Could be because of being a "new" ship !?
