RvrCrzr Posted May 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2008 There are tour operators right at the pier. We paid $20-25 per person for a 3-4 hour tour of Atlantis and Nassau. Ours was an air conditioned van for 7 people. The tour was really nice...the driver/guide was outstanding!

Thanks As soon as you get out of the port shops will be many people with taxis waiting to take you.... as with anything here - haggle for the best price. Is there a specific tour we should be looking at? Thanks We reserved a tour last month through Island Marketing, Nassau Island highlights tour, $30pp for about 2 1/2 hours. We were the only two people in an air conditioned van for about 6-7 people. It was supposed to be a group tour but we were the only two booked and so we got a private tour. The driver was willing to take us where ever we wanted and waited while we looked around and took photos. She gave a narrated tour of the main sights in town, then we went to Atlantis, Cloisters and Versailles Gardens and Fort Charlette. Booking online was very straigtforward and we met up with the driver who was holding a sign with our name on it just outside the cruise port.
