Seranade Hump Cabins

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me if the balcony dividers are removable or open between the balconies on the hump cabins (Deck 7 or Deck 8) on the Seranade? We are traveling with my sister & BIL and would like to open the dividers to have one big balcony. Thanks in advance for the information.

We stayed in hump cabin 8596 (I think that was the cabin#) onboard the Serenade last year and it did not look like the dividers between the balconies were removable. I could be wrong, but it didn't look to me like they could be removed. They are rather large and thick and bolted down.

You really wouldn't want them open all the time, anyway, as you lose all of your room privacy! You'd have to keep your drapes closed all the time, or your neighbors would have a wonderful view, not only of the ocean, but of the inside of your cabin! On the ships where the dividers CAN be opened, once they are open, they stay that way--there's no doorway!

You can still invite your family/friends to your balcony, but you will maintain your privacy!
