Ship's tours get expensive..yes: that's common knowledge throughout the cruise industrywhich is why most people try a D-I-Y thing when going ashore. In the Caribbean, DIY tours ashore are really quite easy since there are lots of taxi drivers and private tour operators eager for your business. I've only ever cruised the Carib. region and so can't comment on conditions in the Med. but don't imagine them to be vastly different! __________________________________________________ Below are 2 shots taken at Nelson's Dockyard in ANTIGUA when we were there in May 2007.
