Diamond Princess PS Suite

Hi

We are considering a PS suite on the Diamond Princess from Bangkok - Sydney.

We have been offered a suite at 555 sq ft with a jacuzi or one at 673 sq ft without a jacuzi.

As we are travelling with a 15 month old I am leaning toward the 673 sq ft without a jacuzi.

Does anyone have any experience of these suites and any recomendations?

Thanks.

I would take that 100+SF extra space in a heartbeat. Then again, I find no need for a jacuzzi.

At first I was trying to figure out which cabins had 100 extra square feet.

A word of warning: Those front suites are not that good IMHO.

We've stayed in aft full suites before and loved them, we've toured

the PS's on Caribe deck which are wonderful, and then I had occasion

to tour those front corner suites. They're nothing more than a glorified

mini-suite, and yes, they don't have a Jacuzzi because from what I

remember they have the basic little mini-suite style bathroom, unlike

all the other suites which have a beautiful marble bathroom with a door

that separates the toilet and a nice huge separate shower and separate

tub. I realize you dont' want the Jacuzzi, but to me there was absolutely

no comparison at all to the other suites --

The 100 extra square feet most likely pertains only to the balcony space, and you

can't even use it that much when at sea. The cabin is configured strangely; it did have a separate bedroom, however, at a right angle

to the living area, but it felt very cramped to me. And for that reason, I'd opt for a mini-suite at a much cheaper price

over that odd "full suite" I think it's L-104 or 102?? At any rate, I think those corner suites are weird.

I love the other full suites much more.

You are referring to an entirely different ship. There is no Caribe Deck or PS on the PP. And the OS on this ship has an extra half bath. The OS on the Pacific on deck seven is 7004 and 7005. There is no L.

I'm referring to the Diamond Princess to which the OP is inquiring about, not the "Pacific Princess," so I am

in fact quite correct.

Well, that's what happens when I discuss suite accommodations on three different ships, on three different threads, at the same time. Sorry.
