23sluvsg Posted May 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2008 We are cruising on Sovereign of the Seas and have booked an interior room for 2 adults and 2 teens. I know we will be cramped but does anyone have any pics of the rooms or anything positive to say??? HA!!:D
cruisegirl1 Posted May 8, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2008 Two adults and 2 teens will be nearly impossible in an interior cabin The cabin is 119 sq ft , less than 10 X 12’ (which includes beds, small desk/dresser closet and bathroom) Consider the Sovereign cabin photo on the RCCL site with 2 upper bunks. This is the entire cabin. The photographer is right up against the back wall, if not out the door. We did it with 3 once and it was TIGHT. Notice I said "once" Please consider 2 cabins, especailly on the Sovereign. It will be a more pleasurable cruise Enjoy M
Bella8286 Posted May 8, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2008 I agree on getting a 2nd room! My husband and I sailed SOS last year and it was cramped with just the two of us and what short time we were in the room it was to shower/get ready and he just sat on the bed while I did my thing. So excited to be sailing SOS again in August with all girls and we will definately only be doing two to a room!!!
cb at sea Posted May 8, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2008 The Sov. is an older ship and has some of the smallest cabins going! Get 2 rooms!
jackg962 Posted May 8, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2008 I did SOS last year with my son and two of his college friends. We did 4 in a cabin. It's doable but if there is a next time we would go in two rooms. JG
