cb at sea Posted May 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2008 Yes, you'll have to go through the TA that booked your reservation. That's the downside to using a ta, instead of going through the cruiseline! Good luck with getting the hump tomorrow!
Retired LEO Posted May 13, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2008 I just noticed a hump cabin came available for close to same price do we have to wait til the TA is in her office tomorrow we will actually be one floor lower but its a hump If you're booked through a TA then you have to deal with them concerning your reservation. RCI won't help you with that.
Sue L Posted May 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2008 You can put it on a 24 hour hold right on the website and then have your TA take it over tomorrow.

Sue L Posted May 13, 2008 #6 Share Posted May 13, 2008 thanks I have it on a 24 hour hold for soem reason people were saying we d get a better view from the hump and we will be on Serende in Alasak its one floor lower but thats fine If you are in the center hump then you will get a view completely forward or aft. If you are not in the center then it doesn't make that much difference beside pure convenience and the end hump cabins have huge balconies. What cabin number? We had 8586 on the end hump on the Serenade last year for Alaska and it was a fantastic room with enough room for our two kids to come over from their room to join us on the balcony. GlenandVal Posted May 13, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted May 13, 2008 room 7596 looked like it was in the middle
sailinglisa Posted May 13, 2008 #8 Share Posted May 13, 2008 7596 is on the hump, but it is the forward part of the hump. You will have a great view forward, down and out, but to the back it will be obstructed. I was in 9580 on the Radiance and had the same view. cruisePRN Posted May 13, 2008 #9 Share Posted May 13, 2008 you don't have control of your reservation so RCL won't speak with you.
