a cab from the airport to the downtown Days Inn, and if you check the hotel's website, I think that you will find that they have a free shuttle to the cruiseport. If you do not want to deal with a crowd taking the shuttle, it would not be a long cab ride to the port.

 

You can always phone the hotel directly at their 800 number and ask for their opinions and about the availability of the shuttle to the ship

If it's an Alaska trip the Sapphire is at Canada Place. You might want to MapQuest your hotel's address to Canada Place.

The Days Inn in Vancouver at 921 Pender Street is a short 3 blocks from Canada Place where the Sapphire comes in. If you can't walk it then your only option will be cab, likely a $5/$7 fare.
