Ship to Airport

On leaving the ship I need to make my own way back to Miami airport. Will there be taxi's available or would it be prudent to pre-book a taxi?

Or, is there a bus service?

Or, do Royal Caribbean make any provisions? (I think that last option is rather hopeful!!)

You can book a RCI transfer but you will have to wait on the bus until it fills up before it will leave for the airport. Cabs are plentiful and you don't really have to make reservations ahead of time. If you have an early flight I would definitely go with a cab as waiting in the RCI bus for it to fill up while time ticks away and your flight time gets closer could be quite nerve racking.

Cabs will be everywhere waiting for a easy fare.:)

RCI quote $40 for two to FLL....how would that compare with a cab....I don't have a flight until the evening....so nooooo time pressure!

The cost for a taxi from Miami port to Miaimi airport is about $20 per car load. The cost to Ft Lauderdale is much more. About $60-$65.

Just came back from the Navigator Saturday. Cabs were a set price of $21.00 + tip. There were plenty of cabs - no problem. It is by far the most convenient way to go.

We paid $21 for the 4 of us this past Saturday...off of the Navigator.

One thing...before you get into any cab...ask their rate or you could be unhappily surprised!
