Anyone got a great picture of Summit at anchor or full profile? We've been on her 2x and just booked it for next February w/our family. I would love to be able to put the picture on my computer as wallpaper so I can look at it while at work and count down the days.

Thanks

How do I get one of the pictures as a screen saver?

Can't help on a PC but on a MAC download the picture and save to iPhoto.

In System Preferences select Desktop & Screen Saver, locate the downloaded picture and make it your new desktop picture.

I sure a PC works the same way....

I have a great picture of Summit in Grand Cayman if you want to email me you can and I'll send it; that way you can have it in a big file for best resolution.

Go to the www.webshots.com site, and search for "Celebrity Summit" - you should find plenty of pics to chose from - over 11,000 based on my search.

This is a great site but who really has the time to search for the perfect picture. 11,000 photos would take quite awhile to search through. I looked at a few pages and most of the pictures have people in them and not full shots of the ship. Which is okay but the OP asked for a full shot of Summit.

And as I stated in my first post I do have the perfect shot of Summit...Tonight I'll ask Mr. G to shrink the file so I can post it here.

Thanks to all who replied. Kant Wait, will look forward to seeing your photo on this thread.

To save the picture on a PC, right click and choose the option: Save as background and it will load on your screen.

mcjeditor...thanks for the info on the Mac, as I have one at home. Now I can do it on both computers!

My original file is huge (it won't download) I figured out how to make it smaller but I wish I knew how to put a picture into the text instead of the small thumbnail. If you click on the thumbnail it will get a bit larger. I am waiting for my husband to get home to help me post a larger photo but until then this is what I have.

I use Imageshack (it's free) to post my pictures :

- Just upload the picture you want to post (resize if necessary)

- copy the "direct link to image"

- when writing a new post : click on the 'insert image' icon in the menu, it's the yellow square.

- paste the link you copied into the little window that just opened.

Good luck ! :)

Thanks everyone for all of your help. I have so many to choose from! I am sending them to my family too so they can see the beautiful ship we are sailing on next.

We are planning on treating them to dinner in the Normandie one night. As CC members, you can reserve 60 days in advance.

nycglitter, try the goat cheese souffle, it is to die for! DH & I shared the Chateaubriand and how I wished we had a microwave in our room so I could have taken the leftovers for lunch. The portions will be larger than in the dining room so don't feel that you are being "cheated" by only choosing a soup, salad or appetizer. There is also a cheese course which DH had with some port. The chocolate mousse is wonderful. I had the "little" desserts the last time and only ate one and passed the rest around the table. They will have to roll you out of there, believe me.

When you get up to go to the washroom, a waiter will offer his arm to escort you! Your napkin will be replaced by a fresh one when you get back.

People on the Princess board rave about Sabatini's tasting menu but it is very hit or miss. The meal in the Normandie is the real deal when it comes to fine dining.

Thanks for the info on the Normandy! I am not a fan of goat cheese, but everything else sounds very tasty! I also don't think I want to be walked to the restroom, but that is really top-notch service. I am looking forward to a nice romantic dinner there!
