Palmeat Posted June 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2008 Home yesterday following seven wonderful days on the Spirit. Itinerary and weather were both fantastic and the ship is in great shape. We've cruised many times (only once previously with Seabourn) but it's difficult to imagine a better overall proposition. The crew were tremendous and service exceptional - better than Legend last year. The menu's were varied - and all served piping hot! Frank works tremendously hard as a cruise director/entertainer - but entertainment on Seabourn will always be a bit 'homespun' (hope that makes sense.) Suite (steerage class - 104) was in excellent condition and well maintained by our stewardess, Solrunn. Overall an excellent family feel to the cruise; some great conversations with fellow passengers; fantastic food; glorious weather and terrific service. Have I missed anything!? We are already booked on the Spirit from Singapore to Hong Kong next January and whilst onboard have booked again (Legend) in Central America/Caribbean, February 2010. Back to work tomorrow to pay for it all (in both senses!) Peter
